About Us
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body set up under the Chartered Accountants Ac, 1949 (Act No. XXXVIII of 1949) enacted by the Parliament of India to impart education, training and regulate the Chartered Accountancy profession.
The Institute has its headquarters at New Delhi with 5 Regional Office At Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata and New Delhi and 124 branches spread all over the country. It has also set up 20 Chapters outside India and has opened its offices in Dubai & England as well. Read more

Respected Members,
It was certainly a matter of great pleasure and privilege for me to welcome and host all the participants in “Nav Srijan-2023” & “CPE Seminar on Recent Changes in GST & Intricacy in Faceless Assessment” held on 30th of November, 2023. This Seminar was organized by CPE Committee of ICAI and hosted by Gorakhpur Branch of CIRC of ICAI.

Chartered Accountants do not excel, only in accounts but they play a crucial role in nation- building. We are the foundation of the economy and optimally utilizing the acquired knowledge & financial expertise, for the Indian economy, to enhance it, along with the commercial & industrial growth. Chartered Accountants can elevate the growth of the country and by 2047 India will be among the most developed Country in the world. It was well said by our Hon.
